Jason Ballard began his undergraduate career at Seton Hall University in the Fall of 1996. Since that time, he has attained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. In addition, Jason has also received a Master’s degree in Professional Accounting as well as a Master’s in Taxation from Seton Hall University.

Jason has been working very diligently since his days as a Seton Hall undergrad. He has worked at some of the best accounting firms in the tri-state area, as well as in the world. He started his professional career at Pricewaterhousecoopers, LLP (PWC) as a tax staff associate while still attending college. He was fortunate enough to gain invaluable experience from working at what was then part of the Big 5 Accounting firms in the world. He was given the opportunity to prepare tax returns for some of the biggest companies around the country while gaining the experience of working in a fast paced environment. Immediately following his tenure at PWC, Jason was able to secure a position at what was then called Schonbraun, Safris, McCann, Bekritsky & Co. LLC (now the Schonbraun McCann Group, LLP). SMG, LLP gave him the opportunity to really fine tune his skills as not only a tax accountant, but as a business professional. He worked on complex tax returns for some of the major real estate companies around the country while also participating in tax planning for minimizing tax consequences.

Since his time at SMG, LLP, Jason was able to land a position with a large Multinational Corporation that specializes in numerous industries ranging from financial services to power generation to manufacturing. It was here that he was able to begin to refine his corporate tax experience and truly make a name for himself in this industry. Jason is a hard working and motivated person that achieves all goals that he sets for himself. There is no project too big or small and no deadline that he is not capable of meeting.

Jason has used the skills that he has learned from the various companies that he has worked for to start his own tax practice (JB Tax & Accounting Services, LLC). He has been working on his own in this capacity for the past 8 years. In addition, Jason has also used his entrepreneur skills to start his own realty company, Ballard Realty, LLC, specializing in multi-family residential units in New Jersey and Cleveland, OH.
